Dear Rondo Days Friends, Family and Supporters:

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Rondo Avenue Inc., we would like to extend an invitation to you, to join us at the 26th Anniversary of the Rondo Days Parade/Festival and Drill Team Competition on Saturday, July 18, 2009.

Over the 26 year history of the Rondo Days Festival, we have challenged ourselves to raise the bar in providing a larger, more diverse and entertaining community We are honored that you have expressed an interest in being involved in our annual celebration.

PARTICIPANTS: We would like to extend an invitation to all Drill Teams, Parade Units, Festival Vendors (Food, Crafts, Retail & Info) & Entertainers as well as Vendors for the Job, Health & Career Expo booth and auto enthusiasts interested in the car show, to take this opportunity to market your products & services, demonstrate your competitive but friendly spirit and exhibit community support by participating in this year’s event.

It is our goal to make this year’s event better than ever and we challenge you to assist us with this goal by submitting your application form and fees by June 24th to secure a position and avoid paying late fees. Spots are distributed on a first come, first served basis and space will be limited. Upon successful processing of your application, you will receive a confirmation letter and a copy of the Rondo Vendor Rules, Guidelines & Procedures.

CONTRIBUTORS: We would like to extend an invitation to all individuals interested in donating monetarily or through other means. We have a great community package that offers the donor some great rewards. We have several events planned for the remainder of this year and years to come. We are renewing our membership program and soliciting membership partners from area businesses to help patronize their business for their goods and services. This year, we are having a Rondo Raffle fundraiser to help acquire funds for this year’s scheduled events. We have also included a brief section for those simply interested in volunteering – your service is invaluable and greatly needed. And as always, straight monetary donations are welcomed anytime. Upon successful processing of your donation, you will receive a confirmation letter of your contribution and a tax deduction form when applicable.

This year’s festival event will take place on Saturday & Sunday, July 16th & 17th , at our new location – St. Paul Dunning Field & Community Center - located at 1221 Marshall Avenue in St. Paul, between St. Paul Central High School and Concordia College.

We look forward to working with you and enjoying another successful celebration of the Rondo Community and its rich heritage.
